Sanjay Singh

Sanjay has over two decades of expertise in Origination, Structuring and Distribution of Fixed Income & Equity products to Global Investors. Before Orion/Polestar, Sanjay was MD & Head of Origination & Distribution of FICC products at Credit Suisse with specific focus on Private Financing & Structured Products. Sanjay was instrumental in successfully establishing the Fixed Income franchise for Credit Suisse in India and represented at senior Management Committees including the Board. The fixed income platforms of Credit Suisse ran a book of ~US$2.5 bn.

Prior to Credit Suisse, Sanjay was Head of FI Sales at Standard Chartered Bank for South Asia responsible for distribution of Rates, FX, Structured & Credit products across the region. Under his leadership, the business grew onto become the largest in the Country

Sanjay also worked with GE Capital, Corporate Finance as Regional Head Portfolio Acquisition, managing structured credit book of ~US$150mn. Prior to that, Sanjay worked with ICICI Group in various areas such as Trading, Institutional Sales, Financial Institutions.

Across various organisations that he has worked with, Sanjay has distributed over USD 40.0 bn of fixed income products to both domestic as well as global investors.

Sanjay is an All India ranker C.A., C.W.A. and C.S and a St. Xavier’s graduate.
